UK Judge Bans Reporting on Journalist Jailed for Covering Alleged Islamic Child Sex Ring

Share

A gang with Islamic ties is suspected of raping countless young girls.

A journalist decided to cover the court case, but armed men quickly put him in handcuffs.

Now, the government has banned the press from reporting on the arrest of the first journalist, essentially conducting a secret trial.

No, this didn’t happen in a third-world dictatorship or a communist regime. This reportedly happened in the United Kingdom this week.

“U.K. right-wing activist and journalist Tommy Robinson was arrested and reportedly jailed Friday after he filmed members of an alleged child grooming gang entering a court for trial — but the details of his purported sentence remain murky after the judge ordered the press not to report on the case,” Fox News explained.

Robinson was allegedly standing outside the courthouse on a public street, filming men who are accused of grooming young children for sex trafficking. The problem, it seems, is the U.K. government doesn’t want anyone to criticize the religion of the suspected criminals.

“Britain has been rocked by a series of child sex scandals perpetuated by gangs of predominantly Muslim men,” Fox reported. Robinson is an outspoken critic of mass Islamic migration in Britain.

Has the U.K. gone too far in anti-freedom political correctness?

Video of Robinson’s arrest shows him being surrounded by numerous police officers as he held a camera phone, then being taken into custody.

“The judge in the case on Friday slapped a reporting ban on the case,” Fox News reported. “The order bans reporters from reporting on a case if there is reason to believe the reporting could prejudice a trial. The order prevents reporting until the conclusion of the trial Robinson was reporting on.”

In a move that seems absolutely Orwellian, news sources in the U.K. have been forced to scrub their existing articles and videos about the Muslim-linked sex-slave grooming case out of fear of government action.

“The gag order led to news outlets in the U.K. removing their reporting from their websites to comply with the order. Most remaining reporting in the U.K. comments on Robinson’s arrest, but not on his purported sentencing,” said the Fox report.

A source who wished to stay anonymous told Fox News that because an Islamic gang is known to be operating within the prison system, Robinson’s arrest for documenting the case against the Muslim groomers could put him in danger.

Apparently, political correctness is now more important than a man’s life.

“Tommy’s lawyer said he will likely die in jail given his profile and previous credible threats, and the judge basically said he doesn’t care,” the source said, according to Fox. “He sentenced him to 13 months in prison.”

Political leaders — at least those who were safely outside of Britain — asked serious questions about the incident.

“What kind of police state have we become?” asked European Parliament member Gerard Batten.

“Arrested for ‘breaching the peace’ while reporting on a Islamic grooming gang trial?” Dutch MP Geert Wilders posted on Twitter. “Is this Saudi-Arabia?”

If these facts are true, we have entered a bizarre and deeply disturbing time. The United Kingdom, once a bastion of Western civilization, has seemingly become a dystopian police state where simply questioning the state’s edicts earns citizens a visit from the Gestapo.

One piece at a time, it looks like Britain and much of Europe has sold its soul to appease political correctness. When authorities sweep appalling crimes like organized sex slavery by Muslim immigrants under the rug and instead arrest journalists, something has gone terribly wrong.
