Usually Reserved Huckabee Erupts, Hits Hillary Like Bare-Knuckle Boxer

Former Governor Mike Huckabee pulled no punches on Monday when he called out Hillary Clinton for the blatant hypocrisy in her remarks questioning President Donald Trump’s loyalty to the United States.

On Sunday, Clinton tried to make a clever comment on Twitter, referencing Trump’s relationship with Russia and the 2018 World Cup.

“Great World Cup,” Clinton wrote. “Question for President Trump as he meets Putin: Do you know which team you play for?”

Clinton is the last person who should be talking about siding with the United States over Russia, considering her sketchy dealings with Russia as secretary of state under the Obama administration.

In 2009, Clinton embarrassed herself and the United States by gleefully presenting a plastic “reset button” to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov as if that gesture smoothed over any wrongs ever done by Russia to the U.S. and our allies.

There’s also the fact that under Clinton’s leadership as secretary of state, the State Department approved a deal that gave one-fifth of the United States’ uranium-mining capacity to Vladimir Putin.

Huckabee pointed out that glaring fact, along with a few others, in a tweet Monday.

Are you glad Huckabee called Clinton out for this?

“Hillary tweeted, ‘Q for Trump as he meets Putin: Do U know which team you play for?’ @POTUS never accepted $500K dollars for 1 speech from Russian bank, taken $140 for his foundation from Russian sources, or sold Russia 1/5 of US uranium supply. Which team are YOU on, Hillary?” Huckabee wrote.

Huckabee wasn’t the only one to call out Clinton for her blatant hypocrisy:

Actions speak louder than words, and Trump’s policies toward Russia have shown his allegiance to the United States and its citizens.

Clinton may be changing her tune now, but she’s made it abundantly clear that she’s willing to play on whichever team serves her own selfish interests.
