Video: Crowd Screams in Delight as Trump Crashes Wedding, Greets Bride & Groom

Share

Everyone’s wedding is a night to remember. Unless, of course, you’re the type of bride or groom to avail yourself too heavily of the open bar. In which case, maybe your second or third wedding will be a night to remember.

However, no matter how memorable your special day is, chances are it’s never going to be as memorable as a reception crashed by the president of the United States.

TMZ reported that during his weekend trip to New Jersey, President Donald Trump “made a surprise appearance Friday during Gerald Papa and Jenna Buchholtz’s wedding at Trump National Golf Course in Bedminster Township.”

“Witnesses tell us 45 flew in on his Marine One chopper and popped in to greet their guests, unannounced.”

“We love you,” one of the people in the video can be heard saying.

This isn’t the first wedding that the president has crashed at his club. Far from it, in fact — it’s something that Trump enjoys.

A brochure described in a 2017 article in The New York Times noted that if Trump “is on-site for your big day, he will likely stop in & congratulate the happy couple. He may take some photos with you but we ask you and your guests to be respectful of his time & privacy.”

Of course, things have gotten more heated since even a year ago, particularly given how excessive liberal protesters have gotten these days.

According to The Hill, a few hundred people lined Route 206 — the main road to Trump National Golf Course — to protest immigration, because of course they did.

Would you want the president to crash your wedding?

However, times may change, but Trump doesn’t, at least when it comes to crashing weddings.

And, if the reaction of the guests is any indication, they’re a lot happier with the president than the protesters are. What a surprise.

So, hey — if you want to hang out with the president, what better way to do it than having a wedding at Trump National Golf Course?

Granted, it is going to be an expensive proposal — Bedminster isn’t a cheap place, after all — but you do have the possibility of having the best wedding crasher in the world.

And, in the end, isn’t that all that matters?
