Watch: Conservatives Should Be Sickened by Woman's Attack on Hispanic Man

Share

A viral video posted on Twitter shows an unidentified woman launching a sickening, racist attack on a Hispanic man, all apparently over pine needles blown into her yard.

According to The Washington Post, the video occurred while his mother was cleaning a client’s house.

“As Estebán Guzman recalled it, his mother had just finished cleaning the inside of a client’s house and strapped on a leaf blower when the woman across the street started screaming,” The Post reported.

“It’s very likely that his mother had blown some pine needles into the next-door yard, Guzman told The Post. That can happen on big jobs like this one — where her clients wanted the entire property spick-and-span so they could rent it on Airbnb.”

Guzman, a systems administrator in the Los Angeles area who helps out with the family business on weekends, says what happened next was nightmarish.

The video starts in medias res, with the woman calling them horrifying names.

“I don’t know why you hate us,” Guzman says as the woman flips him the bird. “Why do you hate us — because we’re Mexicans?”

“Yes,” she says.

“We’re honest people right here!” Guzman responds.

Do you think this woman needs to apologize?

The woman then laughs. “Yeah, rapists,” she responds.

“Rapists?” Guzman asks.

“Animals,” the woman says.

The exchange continues, with the woman deciding to blame the fact that she’s a racist on Donald Trump: “Even the president of the United States says you’re a rapist,” she says.

Here’s the video, which we warn you is disturbing. Viewer discretion is advised:

It’s worth noting that the identity of the woman in the video could not be confirmed in any of the stories, which has led to some suspicion that the clip may be a fake. In a world where a woman who harasses a young girl selling water in her yard can be identified within hours, this isn’t an unreasonable concern.

That being said, Guzman has given numerous interviews about the case, something that would be unusual if this were merely a put-on. If it is real, this woman has some very serious issues that need to be addressed, and fast.

Donald Trump did not influence this woman’s racism. The media did not make her a racist. This kind of sick behavior is entirely of her own making — and she not only needs to take responsibility for it, but make things right for the Guzman family.
