Sometimes, it’s just good to watch the bad guys blow up.
This powerful video, posted on YouTube by Iraqis on the front lines of what used to be called the War on Terror, showed a suicide truck coming in for an attack and being repulsed … violently.
The video, which has garnered thousands of views, became tense as the truck moved closer and closer, and although the vehicle was loaded with explosives for the soon-to-be suicide bombing, the truck would not explode despite the number of bullets fired at it.
Not for lack of trying, either — the video showed a solid two minutes of yelling and chattering of automatic weapons as the car received hits and dust clouds are kicked up all around the truck.
An Iraqi Humvee even moved forward, opening up with a machine gun. No dice.
Enter, the rocket propelled grenade. You can imagine what happened next, but you don’t have to, because we have the video right here.
If you miss it the first time, keep playing though the video — there’s a slow motion version that follows.
There’s a white streak that comes into the picture for a fraction of a second. That would be the rocket propelled grenade.
As a matter of fact, whoever sent in a single grenade in from that far away with that degree of accuracy needs a raise — RPGs are notoriously inaccurate.
Fortunately for these troops, the gunner knew what he was about, and they were saved.
