Watch: Pence Lays Down the Law on ICE- 'We Are with You 100 Percent'

Every day it seems that the radical fringe of the Democratic Party is becoming more mainstream.

Case in point: Immigration.

The left’s platform has become so extreme that even prominent Democrat politicians are calling for the complete abolishment of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Self-declared socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who beat Democratic Rep. Joe Crowley of New York in the primary last week, ran on a platform of abolishing the agency.

There’s also actress-turned-New York gubernatorial challenger Cynthia Nixon who labeled ICE a “terrorist organization.”

“ICE has strayed so far away from its mission,” she said. “It is supposed to be here to keep Americans safe but what it has turned into frankly is a terrorist organization of its own that is terrorizing people who are coming to this country.”

And it’s not just the extreme progressives of the party.

Are you glad President Trump supports ICE?

Take, for example, Elizabeth Warren. On Saturday, she said ICE needs to be replaced. Replaced with what, we’re not sure.

“The President’s deeply immoral actions have made it obvious that we need to rebuild our immigration system from top to bottom, starting by replacing ICE with something that reflects our values,” she said.

There’s also New York Mayor Bill de Blasio. “ICE’s time has come and gone,” he told WNYC’s Brian Lehrer.

Then there’s possible 2020 presidential hopeful, New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand.

“I believe that (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) has become a deportation force … and that’s why I believe you should get rid of it, start over, reimagine it and build something that actually works,” Gillibrand said in a CNN interview.

Thankfully, these radicals aren’t running the country.

President Donald Trump is — and he isn’t folding under pressure from the left.

On Friday, he had a message for all Americans (including these radical politicians) via Vice President Mike Pence: ICE isn’t going anywhere.

Speaking in Washington, D.C. at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement headquarters, Pence made sure these hardworking men and women know the president has their back, Breitbart reported.

“The president sent me here today with a very simple message,” Pence said. “I stand before you today at a time when some people are actually calling for the abolition of ICE. In this White House, let me be clear, we are with you 100 percent. And as the president said last night, we will always stand proudly with our brave heroes of ICE and the Border Patrol.”

“Under President Donald Trump, we will never abolish ICE.”

Thank God for that!
