Watch: Trump Spots Hippie Protesting at Rally, Asks if He's a Boy or Girl

This guy might need to put more “man” in his “man bun.”

A protester who decided to make a spectacle of himself at a rally by President Donald Trump in Minnesota ahead of the 2018 midterm elections got to show off his long locks gathered into a knot for a national audience Wednesday in a scene that drew a mocking gibe from the president of the United States.

But the statement the protester was making was even worse than his hairstyle.

The incident occurred during a raucous rally in Duluth, when throngs of Trump supporters gathered at the Amsoil Arena, according to the Duluth News Tribune.

“Go home to your mom, darling, go home,” Trump said as the man was escorted out. “Get him out of here. Out.”

When the man was out of the crowd, Trump lightened the mood a little.

“Was that a man or a woman? Because he needs a haircut more than I do,” Trump said, in a line that brought a roar of laughter. “I couldn’t tell. Needs a haircut.”

As Newsweek reported, the scene started when the man held up a dated picture of Trump with Jeffrey Epstein, the billionaire investor from Palm Beach, Florida, who also happens to have pleaded guilty in 2008 to soliciting sex from a 14-year-old girl. Standing about 15 feet from Trump, the protester and a woman with him began aclling Trump a rapist, the News Tribune reported.

Is mockery the best way to deal with protesters like this?

The protester was apparently trying to dredge up stories about Trump related to a woman’s accusations from before the presidential election that Trump had raped her in 1994 when she was a teenager who attended parties at Epstein’s home.

Unfortunately for liberals, the woman dropped her lawsuit against Trump about the accusations in November 2016, just before the election.

Even more unfortunately for liberals, that tenuous connection between Trump and Epstein is nothing compared to former President Bill Clinton’s firmly established ties to Epstein, including documented airplane trips to a Caribbean island known as “Orgy Island” (for what should be obvious reasons).

According to a Fox News report from May 2016:

“Former President Bill Clinton was a much more frequent flyer on a registered sex offender’s infamous jet than previously reported, with flight logs showing the former president taking at least 26 trips aboard the ‘Lolita Express’ — even apparently ditching his Secret Service detail for at least five of the flights, according to records obtained by FoxNews.com.”

Now, can anyone imagine what a man with Clinton’s well-known tastes and temperament might be doing taking a charter flight known as the “Lolita Express” to a place called “Orgy Island”?

So the protester in Minnesota might have wanted to try to rekindle memories of a sketchy, apparently baseless accusation brought against Trump in the heat of a presidential campaign, but all he really did was remind America of the kind of person Bill Clinton really was.

And make Trump supporters glad Bill Clinton’s wife couldn’t manage to return to the Oval Office to bring the country four more years of Clinton depravity.

He also gave many conservatives a chuckle, thanks to Trump’s crack:

It’s a good bet it wasn’t the effect this protester was going for.

But when your hairstyle is edgy, and your politics are misguided, mockery is about the best you can hope for.
