American and coalition forces “conducted 28 strikes consisting of 111 engagements against ISIS terrorists in Syria and Iraq,” according to a report by the U.S. Central Command. One of the most spectacular was an airstrike on an ISIS-held building in Mosul, Iraq. It’s not a building anymore.
In an impressive display of American and coalition air power, a U. S. B-52 bomber targeted the building and annihilated it in seconds.
Twitter user Babak Taghbaee posted the video. (Note the date, 10/3/2017, is written international-style and actually is March 10). Enjoy it here:

President Donald Trump broke with former President Barack Obama’s and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s tradition of avoiding the term “radical Islam,” pledging in his first speech to congress on Feb. 28 to eradicate “radical Islamic terrorism,” according to Breitbart.
Since its first flight in 1952, the Boeing B-52 Stratofortress has been the king of the wartime sky. Able to “do it all,” it’s the Swiss Army Knife of airplanes.
The B-52 can carry a 70,000 pound payload and engage in precision targeting, and has a flight range of more than 8,800 miles without aerial refueling, according to the U.S Air Force.
B-1B Lancers had been the primary bombers used by U.S. forces in Iraq and Syria until early March, when a group of B-52s arrived at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.
The B-52s should be an enormous help to Iraqi and Kurdish forces as they battle to regain control of Mosul, long an Islamic State stronghold, according to USA Supreme.
Woe to the Islamic State group as it experiences the might of the American-made B-52. The terrorists who survive won’t forget it.
Please share on Facebook and Twitter to celebrate a great aircraft fighting for a great cause.
