An Arizona woman is facing serious charges after she used her car to run over her boyfriend after she discovered he was HIV positive.
According to WWBT-TV, Misty Lee Wilke of Phoenix was caught on camera slamming in to her boyfriend, Joseph Valva, who was on a bike.
Court documents say that Wilke had just found out that Valva was HIV positive. When she found out, he reportedly laughed about it.
The horrified girlfriend then allegedly decided to take action in the most dramatic way possible. While Valva was riding her bike, Wilke took her bright-red Ford Mustang and ran him over.
Her only problem was that the whole incident on April 29 was caught on security camera.
In the graphic video, Wilke could be seen speeding out of her driveway in the car, hitting Valva head on. Valva is tossed off the bike and over the car like a rag doll, eventually lying in the street.

A Maricopa County grand jury indicted Wilke on charges of attempting to commit second-degree murder, leaving the scene and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She has pleaded not guilty and is being represented by a public defender.
Her story, according to court records, is that what transpired was an accident. She says that after he laughed, she pushed him. That’s when he took a knife and took a swipe at her, with police saying she may have suffered a small cut about one centimeter long on her arm.
She then said she got into the car and jumped the curb, although she didn’t look or see who she ran over. She said she knew she hit somebody, although she couldn’t explain how he got on his bike right in front of her.
One look at the video and that doesn’t seem likely, however.

Valva suffered a fractured vertebrae in his back. He was also received staples for a head wound.
