Woman Who Said Trump 'Fat-Shamed' Her Makes Shocking Change to Her Story

Share

Something must have jogged her memory.

The former Miss Universe who soared to liberal fame just before the 2016 presidential election by accusing then-candidate Donald Trump of “fat-shaming her” because she put on weight after winning the crown in the late 1990s is back in the news.

And there’s a detail of her relationship with Trump that she somehow forgot to mention while being lionized by Hillary Clinton’s fans in the mainstream media 18 months ago.

In an interview this week on the Spanish-language network Telemundo, Venezuela-born actress Alicia Machado accused Trump of trying to have sex with her after he bought the Miss Universe Organization in 1996, according to Newsweek.

When Machado claimed to know Trump very well, the interviewer asked if she had known him “intimately,” according to the U.K. Daily Mail.

Machado denied having sex with Trump. “No, I know him as a person. I think that’s worse,” she said.

“Often you can sleep with someone you don’t know. It wasn’t the case with me. I never had sex with him,” she added.

Naturally, the Trump-hating liberals at Newsweek loved the story, posting it Monday with the headline, “Trump Tried To Have Sex With Teenage Beauty Queen Alicia Machado While He Fat-Shamed Her, Former Miss Universe Claims.”

Do you think Alicia Machado is telling the truth?

The short writeup contains not a hint of skepticism about Machado’s claim. Nor does coverage from the U.K. Sun. Nor does the Daily Mail’s version of the story.

But adults who learn about the new claims might wonder just where this bombshell accusation was when Clinton made Machado a talking point in the campaign’s last debate in September of 2016.

They might wonder where the accusation was during the torrent of publicity that surrounded Machado in the hectic month before the election. Some other curious facts about the actress emerged at the time, including that she’d been credibly accused of being an accomplice to murder (she didn’t deny it, according to Business Insider).

But nowhere was there a hint that Trump had tried to have carnal knowledge of her.

Adults who are honest might suspect that maybe, just maybe, the recent claims by porn star Stormy Daniels that she had a sexual relationship with Trump might have something to do with Machado’s newest claim.

Daniels not only got a big payday out of the questionable claims — $130,000 – but she’s also gotten a huge amount of publicity. The New York Times estimated Daniels’ “60 Minutes” interview was viewed by 22 million Americans. Not many porn stars get that kind of visibility.

So Machado, who had the media at her beck-and-call in the weeks before a presidential election that changed American history, didn’t remember anything about Trump trying to get her into bed — and presumably using his position as her boss to pressure her.

And the scandal suckers at the Clinton campaign, who would have jumped at another chance to brand Trump a sexual predator, somehow didn’t know about Machado’s situation?

She “forgot” to tell the Clinton campaign about this, too?

But after watching a former porn star reap the benefits of accusing Trump of sexual misbehavior, and rake in tons of publicity that can’t help but turn into money (she’s already playing to packed houses at strip clubs and recently posed for a nude photo spread), this put-upon former beauty queen suddenly remembers Trump tried to get her into bed.

Something must have jogged her memory — and that something probably wasn’t the truth.
