Dad Crashes Daughter's Marriage Proposal With Hilarious Sign

Share

It was a day Allison Barron and Levi Bliss would never forget. After dating for two years, Levi decided it was finally time to pop the question.

He bought the ring and took Allison out on a romantic walk, stopping along the way to get down on one knee.

Suddenly, Allison realized what was happening and began to cry. But then something off in the distance caught her eye.

As she looked closer, she began cracking up when she saw that it was her dad holding up a sign with two words on it.

And just what were those words, you may ask?

Allison’s dad was standing on a hill behind her boyfriend as he was proposing to her, holding up a sign that said “SAY NO.”

After word of the proposal went viral, Allison spoke to the media, assuring everyone that, yes, her dad was joking.

According to Allison, Levi and her dad are extremely close, and a joke like this is entirely expected.

“This is really just my dad’s personality,” she said. “We have a very close family and so he’s made little jokes like this before.”

“We both know my dad so well, we got the joke right away and found it funny,” she said.

Thankfully, Allison did not listen to her dad’s instructions and said yes to Levi’s proposal.

The world has had a good laugh at the photos as well, with them all raking in nearly 223,000 likes so far.

The soon-to-be husband and wife were shocked to see how many people enjoyed the proposal, but they are glad that they have something they can remember for the rest of their lives.

“You always see little things like this blow up on Twitter and now it’s me,” Allison said. “It [has] also been one of the best days ever, so I really get to just keep reliving it!”
