It seems like a daily event for one celebrity or another to announce whom he or she will support in the upcoming presidential election.
One of the latest endorsements comes from Uncle Si of Duck Dynasty.
Si Robertson made an appearance on Fox 411 this week to discuss the release of his new book, Si-Renity, when the subject of the election was brought up.

Robertson said he has kept up with the campaigns and has decided he would not vote for Democrat Hillary Clinton or Republican Donald Trump.
“I’ve been looking at it. … I’m going to vote for God as president,” he said.
Robertson went on to explain his choice, saying, “Number one, it’s impossible for Him to lie. Number two, He is going to do what’s right, OK, because He loves this United States of America, and number three, that’s the truth. … He was with us from the founding of this nation.”

He urged voters to “vet your candidate against the standard. That’s the standard.”
Discussing Robertson’s second book, one of the hosts asked him about his faith.
“Since the show has become a hit some of the things that have happened when we’re out at events [have] actually strengthened my faith in Him,” Robertson responded.
When asked for an example, Uncle Si said, “Take Make-A-Wish Foundation. These kids are dying of cancer, and the last thing they want do is see me or my brother or Willie or Sadie. They’re dying and their last wish is to see the Robertsons, and that’s amazing to us. … We’ve said a prayer for them, and then the Almighty healed them. It’s a pretty neat thing to watch God’s work.”

Robertson told Fox 411 that when Duck Dynasty ended he planned to go to Nashville to pursue a career in country music.
“I sing country music. George Jones, Merle Haggard, the old guys. Trying to bring real country music back,” he said.
Robertson, who has been critical of the way the United States has treated its veterans, told the hosts, “Look we send them off to war, OK? We send them over there and we ought to look after them when they come back.”
He told Fox 411 that his son, who had pulled eight tours of duty in Iraq, suffered with post-traumatic stress disorder.

Following an episode, his son said, “Dad you’ve got to understand. I’ve got three years of that in my mind.”
“And I didn’t even think about it that way. We have some of our soldiers who’ve done seven or eight tours either in Iraq or Afghanistan, OK? So they’re dealing with a lot of trauma,” Robertson said. “We need to do a better job when they come back. Take care of them better.”
