Eagles take lead with back-to-back huge plays

Share

The Philadelphia Eagles drew first blood against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII on the backs of two big plays.

First, former Patriot and current Eagle LeGarrette Blount bulldozed his way for 36 yards on the right side.

Running behind Pro Bowl right tackle Lane Johnson, Blount flashed the strength and speed that has made him part of one of the most fearsome running back duos in the NFL.

Shortly after that, Nick Foles continued his ridiculous post-season hot streak with a 34-yard touchdown bomb to Alshon Jeffery. The Eagles missed the point-after attempt.
