Donald Trump could set a major record in the upcoming election: Getting the highest percentage of the gay and lesbian vote that a Republican presidential candidate has ever gotten.
Log Cabin Republicans president Gregory T. Angelo said Tuesday, “My prediction is that Donald Trump will win this election. Trump is going to win in a landslide.”
Speaking of the possible record Trump could set, Angelo said, ” I think there’s an opportunity, especially given the explicit outreach Donald Trump has made to the LGBTQ community.”

Angelo referenced Trump’s comments during his prime-time acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention.
“What a poignant moment it was that Trump directly referenced the LGBTQ community,” he said. “And, by the way, I would argue that that is even more important because there was no political risk for President Obama and certainly Hillary Clinton to support marriage equality as they did. But for Trump to reference LGBTQ in prime time during his nomination acceptance was not only historic, it’s something that in the past the consultant class advised against … but he went ahead and did it anyway.”
Trump has also received public support from Bretibart News tech editor and outspoken gay conservative Milo Yiannopolous.

Yiannopolous, doing a recent interview with WND, said: “I can’t imagine why any gay person would ever be so stupid as to vote for Hillary Clinton, a woman who is funded by Islamic countries that execute gays, when you have on the other side a candidate who after Orlando gave the speech of his political career.”
