A number of the foundations of the Black Lives Matter movement have been shown to be terribly shaky at best and outright fraudulent at worst — Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke recently said the “phony movement” was based on a “big lie.” Nonetheless, a new textbook on Black Lives Matter and its impact on politics and culture could be coming soon to a school in your community.
A company called ABDO, which specializes in publishing educational materials, is offering a text for the coming school year that, according to the ABDO website, “covers the shootings that touched off passionate protests, the work of activists to bring about a more just legal system, and the tensions in US society that these events have brought to light.”
The publisher makes sure prospective buyers know the textbook, “Black Lives Matter,” which will sell in hardcover version for $24.95 and is aimed at students in grades 6-12, is aligned to Common Core standards.

One of the co-authors of the text is identified as Duchess Harris, a professor of American Studies at Macalester College in Minnesota. To give you an idea of where Harris is likely coming from, the college website notes that one of the professor’s other books is “Black Feminist Politics from Kennedy to Clinton/Obama.”
An unabashed critic of the Black Lives Matter movement, radio show host and political commentator Larry Elder — who is himself African American — recently spoke to Fox and Friends Weekend. Fox News reports Elder said:
…this book is indoctrinating children to believe that black people are victims and white people should feel guilty about it. [Elder] explained that doesn’t get to the root of the problem.
He said if the Black Lives Matter movement is really concerned about saving the lives of African Americans, they should focus on black-on-black crime, which is the number one cause of preventable death among young black males.

Elder added, “I haven’t seen this kind of mass lack of critical thinking, perhaps, since the O.J. Simpson verdict.”
By clicking on the video above, you can see how one black man boldly pushes back against the claims of Black Lives Matter leaders, unlike what prominent politicians such as Hillary Clinton have done.
