Fact Check: Did the NFL Ban All Rainbow Themed Gear?

It’s one of those things that sounds too good to be true for conservative football fans. Unfortunately, it seems to be.

As the regular season approaches, you may have seen on social media that the NFL is looking to do away with all rainbow-hued merchandise on the field for its games in 2025 — the latest sign that “pride” as a thing all entities must celebrate is fast drawing to a close.

For instance, take this post from @Sassafrass_84, a popular conservative personality on X, announcing that the league’s teams were going to be ditching the rainbow gear.
