Globalism: French Riot Cops Literally Drag Yellow Vester Down Street by Her Hair

Share

Paris is burning — only this time it’s not the fault of goose-stepping Germans hellbent on global conquest, but rather the aftermath of police clashing with the “gilets jaunes.”

The anti-government protesters, whose name comes from the yellow vests drivers are required to keep in their cars, took to the country’s streets wearing their namesake clothing. The French Ministry of the Interior put the total number of demonstrators at over 280,000, according to 20 Minutes France.

Naturally, the government is not happy with any level of disobedience. As such, the protests have been marked by stunning brutality from French police. Videos uploaded to Twitter show the barbarity these jackbooted enforcers are willing to inflict to pacify unarmed citizens.

In one, officers can be seen dragging a woman away, seemingly by her hair.

We have no idea what this woman’s crime was. She might have assaulted someone, or she simply might have been in the wrong place at the wrong time. What we do know is this: Two armored riot cops surrounded by other officers violently dragged an unarmed woman through the street.

In another video, these deputized thugs are seen wrestling a disabled man from his wheelchair, only to drop him in the dirt.

Although the protests were sparked by outrage over exorbitant carbon and fuel taxes, they are quickly becoming about much more than gasoline.

It’s not hard to see why, either. This was not the only spat of brutality, and it certainly wasn’t the most extreme.

Video across social media shows the small horrors inflicted by the riot police. One infamous and widely circulated video on Twitter shows the aftermath of a crowd-control grenade making contact with a protester’s hand. Another shows an old man bleeding from the face, reportedly hit by a rubber bullet.

Due to the way the protests have been handled, some are calling for the resignation of French President Emmanuel Macron and his administration. This would be a serious blow to globalism, as former U.S. President Barack Obama personally intervened in the European country’s elections, according to The Guardian.

Macron has addressed France over the riots and acknowledged unacceptable levels of violence — from the protesters.

You’re probably starting to see why Obama is such a big fan of this guy.

There’s definitely some unacceptable violence here, and the amount of it coming from the government should worry every French citizen.

Macron seems to be edging his country closer to the brink with every escalation against the protesters, but hopefully tensions in the Fifth French Republic will simmer down.

After all, it wasn’t long ago that a French king was the one being dragged through the streets by subjects he pushed a little too far.
