'Ignorant Incoherence': Limbaugh Exposes Ocasio-Cortez for the Fraud She Is
Self-described “democratic socialist” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has become the new face of the Democrat Party following her shocking June primary victory in New York over the long-serving Democrat Rep. Joe Crowley.
As part of her role as the “future of the party,” she has been making the media rounds recently to promote her socialist views, yet in doing so has displayed an even more shocking degree of economic and political ignorance that should utterly shame our nation’s educational system.
Conservative talk radio king Rush Limbaugh roasted Ocasio-Cortez on his program on Monday by highlighting and then shredding a couple of clips — as well as a tweet — of her recent appearance on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show,” and took great exception to the fact that this rather ignorant young woman boasts an economics degree from Boston University.
“Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a graduate from Boston U, she has a degree in economics, and it’s clear she doesn’t know anything,” Limbaugh stated in a segment his website headlined “The Ignorant Incoherence of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.”
“If this level, this degree of complete economic ignorance can get you a degree in economics from a major American university, then something is drastically, terribly wrong.”
He proceeded to play a sound bite from her appearance that was in essence a mish-mash of words and liberal cliches about the rich paying their “fair share” and how the country could afford to fund her “Medicare for all” scheme if only it just raised taxes on corporations and the wealthy.
Following the audio clip, Limbaugh proclaimed, “Ladies and gentlemen, this is wandering aimlessly through our vocabulary in dire search of coherence. This is entirely incoherent — and to call it ignorant is to give it too much credit. But that’s not all. There is more.”
“We have just come off eight years of economic stagnation. No economic growth to speak of,” he continued. “We have had tax increases out the wazoo in the past eight years, including all of the new taxes brought on by the government taking over health care with Obamacare.”
Limbaugh then did an impersonation of former President Barack Obama telling American workers that their lost jobs were never coming back, no matter what Donald Trump and his “magic wand” would do, and how liberals like Obama and Ocasio-Cortez thought America in decline was the “new normal” and it was up to the government to redistribute the nation’s remaining resources more equitably.
“Okay. So we’ve come off eight years of that kind of thing, exactly what Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants to return to,” Limbaugh stated, as he proceeded to point out how, in just a year and a half, Trump has restored lost jobs and boosted the economy to such an extent that tax revenues have increased even as individual and corporate rates were reduced.
“Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her education — economics degree — would literally kill this economy, and she is clueless! She hasn’t the slightest idea, because all she has been educated to understand is liberal cliche,” Limbaugh stated, as he turned his attention to one of her tweets — ripping it apart point by point — to help prove just how ignorant the fresh face of the Democrat Party truly is.

“’The GOP is: — weak on fighting for working class Americans.’ Really? Working-class Americans are doing better than they have in the last 15 years, after just one-and-a-half years of being escaped from Obamaism,” Limbaugh stated. “The GOP is ‘weak on crime.’ Really? Who is it that wants to let felons out of jail so they can vote?
“The GOP is ‘weak on equal rights.’ The GOP is ‘weak on national security.’ Who is it trying to secure the border? Who is it that’s trying to make illegal immigrants don’t get in and national security is maintained? Who is it that wants to get rid of customs and ICE? It’s the Democrats, and they claim they are tough on national security?”
He also pointed out how Ocasio-Cortez had it entirely backward as far as “racism” and “family values” went, and then delivered a devastating blow: “The woman is a … I mean, I’m sad to say, but she’s a glittering jewel of colossal ignorance who doesn’t know it.”
Limbaugh played another audio clip of Ocasio-Cortez talking about raising taxes, instituting a “carbon tax” to transition the country away from fossil fuels and “reprioritizing” funding away from the military, all of which would kill our economy and leave our nation weaker.
He certainly had plenty more to say about Ocasio-Cortez’s “ignorant incoherence” with regard to economics, but suffice it to say that he absolutely gave her a well-earned roasting of epic proportion, and it was utterly glorious to hear.
Democrats better find a new “new,” face, and find it quick.
