Kindhearted Age 4 Boy Delivers Chicken Sandwiches to Homeless People on Streets

Share

We’ve heard the expression that goes something like, “he has more kindness in his pinky finger than most people have in their entire bodies,” or … something along those lines.

With the recent release of “Avengers: Infinity War” and the upcoming summer blockbuster, “Incredibles 2,” quickly approaching, I’d say many of us have superheroes on the brain. But did you know you don’t have to hop into a Disney/Pixar film to find a hero to believe in?

In fact, if you visit Birmingham, Alabama, you might encounter the infamous “President Austin.” He may not be able to fly or control your mind, but this 4-year-old certainly holds an amazing power to his name.

And that power is kindness. When Austin Perine learned that some people don’t have a mom or dad or even a place to call home, he immediately knew what he wanted to do.

Rather than take his allowance to spend on new toys, this little boy decided there was a much better use for his cash. With his dad, TJ Perine, in tow, Austin buys chicken sandwiches and sodas and delivers them to those in need.

But the miniature president doesn’t stop there. With each delivery, he reminds people, “Don’t forget to show love.”

Some of the recipients are rendered speechless by his big heart, while others voice their gratitude loud and clear. One man by the name of Raymont Baugh said Austin gives him “hope.”

Another woman shared, “It warms my heart to see him.” It’s clear Austin is making a huge impact.

“Feeding the homeless is the highlight of my life!” Austin exclaimed in an interview. While his dad watches silently in the background, there’s no doubt this man is proud of his superhero son.

Who knows? Maybe “President Austin” will become a real-life president someday.

Time will tell, but for now, I’d say this kid is on the right track to leadership. His actions and big heart serve as good reminders that we could all show a little more love to those in need.
