Mom and Child Trapped in Downpour, Video Shows Moment Sweet Cop Comes To Rescue

Share

Storms are very powerful and often leave us awestruck at what God has created around us.

Watching a storm from the safety of your house can be a wonderful break from technology.

Seeing the dark clouds roll in, the lightning jump through the clouds, and the rain trickle down on the window can make anyone feel calm and at peace.

Storms are great … unless you are walking outside and see one rolling in. After all, no one wants to get drenched and pushed by the wind. Especially if you have a little one with you.

One mother was about to face the impending doom of a storm in Danbury, Connecticut.

The wind began to pick up and the trees began to bend, and it did not look good for them. The mother tried to get everything together so they could leave, but the storm was making it difficult.

It was then when a Danbury police officer pulled off to the side of the road, right next to the mother and her child. She knew that she had to help them avoid the rain.

The officer offered to give the woman a ride home and quickly got out of the car to help her gather her things and pack them into her trunk.

It was then that a man in a nearby office building noticed the act of kindness, and decided to hit the record button.

He watched as the police officer held the door open for the mother, then quickly ran to her side and took them home.

“Danbury’s finest…..it was nice to witness this today out of my office window. Torrential rain was fast approaching and this officer pulls over and clearly offered this woman and her little child a safe ‘DRY’ ride home. I thought this would be a great opportunity to show how much our local PD’s do care and are willing to help even when they don’t have to!” the man posted.
