Choirs Sing National Anthem from Every Single Floor of Hotel, Result Is Stunning!

Share

If you’ve attended a U.S. sporting event, you’ve likely sung the “The Star Spangled Banner” along with the lead singer and crowd at the game.

It can be a powerful experience to sing the National Anthem within a large group.

“The Star Spangled Banner” evokes a great sense of patriotism for Americans around the country. Garrett Mager was in Louisville, Kentucky, when he experienced what he described as a “proud American moment.”

As you might have guessed, it did involve the National Anthem. However, Mager wasn’t at a sporting or other event where one typically expects the National Anthem to be sung.

He was at the Hyatt Regency Louisville. Asleep in his hotel room, something awoke him on Feb. 7.

The noise was indistinguishable, but sounded like it was coming from the lobby. Soon, Mager would recognize it as the familiar “Star Spangled Banner.”

A stunning rendition of the song hit his ears as he exited the room to check out what was happening. He took a video and later posted it to Facebook.

“The Kentucky State Choir Finals schools are all staying at my hotel.

They decided to sing the National Anthem together on every single floor. #Amazing,” Mager captioned the video.

The results truly were amazing. I got goosebumps watching the recorded video on my computer, so I cannot imagine what it would be like to be there in person!

Mager also shared that he was “feeling patriotic” as he witnessed the National Anthem like never before.

After sharing the video, many people also felt patriotic while watching the replay on Facebook.

The video has received over 74,000 comments. Many of them read: “Proud to be an American.”

Even more impressive, the video has 30 million views! “A great experience! Some young folks have ethics and grit. Thank God,” read another comment.

If you watch until the end, you can hear people in the hotel chanting “USA, USA” after the song was over.

It’s wonderful to see the National Anthem being highlighted in a positive and powerful way after being associated with much controversy in recent months.
