Passengers Floored by Flight Attendant's Actions When He Spots Sick Woman on Plane

Share

I don’t know a single person that would say going to the airport is a stress-free event.

Traffic is full, flights are delayed, children are screaming.

Whether you’re dropping someone off, picking someone up, or the poor soul traveling somewhere, it’s rarely an exciting event.

But imagine if, on top of all of the stresses of traveling, you also had Parkinson’s disease.

To many, this would be enough to give up traveling all together. However, one woman, wasn’t so easily deterred.

After boarding her plane, a flight attendant named Jeffery Jones noticed her sitting uncomfortably in coach.

He soon walked over the frail old woman and asked if she would like to be moved to the first class.

She agreed and he helped her stand as one passenger began to take pictures of the sweet moment.

After escorting her all the way to the front of the plane, passenger Sharon Radcliffe called Jeffery over.

She offered to help him take the woman to the bathroom if she needed any help. But to her surprise, he declined, explaining that his grandmother also had the disease.

Jeffery continued to check on the old woman for the remainder of the flight, patting her back whenever he helped her in and out of her seat to walk up and down the aisle.

By the end of the journey, Sharon had tears in her eyes.

As she got off of the plane, Sharon approached Jeffery once again.

“I am a nurse, and I am so impressed with how you took care of that lady,” she told him. “My mother is a very young 70 years old and is a newly diagnosed Parkinson’s patient.

“I hope one day someone treats her as well as you treated that lady!”

Jeffery’s unconditional willingness to help others is truly an inspiration to us all!
