Miraculous Moment 9-Yr-Old Pries Free Man Trapped Under Car

Guardian angels are said to watch over an individual person in order to protect them during times of crisis.

Many people who have come near death have tales of how an angel of some sort helped save their life.

Allen Clemmons is no exception, saying that he would not be alive today if it wasn’t for his guardian angel in Sumter, South Carolina.

Clemmons was spending a Saturday afternoon in his backyard working on his Mustang convertible.

The car was held up by a jack as it sat on top of blocks, while Clemmons was underneath trying to remove the transmission.

All of a sudden, the car fell from its perch, trapping Clemmons underneath.

“I was having a really hard time breathing with it on top of me, even though I was kind of on my side,” he said.

Clemmons tried calling out for help, but no one responded. His family was running errands and his neighbors were too far away to hear his cries.

He spent an hour and a half struggling to hold on to life before he tried one last time to get help.

“I asked God to help me, to give me one more holler and send an angel by my way,” Clemmons said. “The last holler before I give up.”

To his surprise, nine-year-old Malachai came running from a nearby yard to try and save the trapped man.

“I was playing outside and I heard someone yelling,” Malachi said. “He was saying something like he was stuck but I didn’t know what he meant.”

With Clemmons’ guidance, the boy used the jack to raise the car off of the man.

“My uncle taught me how to use a jack so I knew how,” Malachi said.

After the weight of the car was lifted off of Clemmons, the nine-year-old ran to get help.

A tow truck arrived with an additional jack, and the man was pulled free and airlifted to a Columbia hospital.

“I don’t think I would have survived another 30 minutes,” Clemmons said. “It was getting really hard to breathe. He is truly my guardian angel.”

Clemmons has six broken ribs and a fractured pelvis, but he is expected to make a full recovery thanks to the heroic actions of Malachi.
