Twins Wait Months To Tell Parents They're Both Pregnant. When Moment Arrives, Dad Breaks Down

Share

Life is full of little moments that are captured as little memories in our hearts. One of those special moments is telling your loved ones that a baby addition will be coming into your family in nine months.

Especially if the couple has been waiting a long time to get pregnant, surprising loved ones with the news can be fun and exciting.

Erika Irwin of Tyler, Texas, for example, surprised her husband, Luke, with the news on their 5-year wedding anniversary.

They had arranged a photo shoot to commemorate the milestone, but it turned into a video session of Luke finding out he is going to be a dad.

“She did not know she was pregnant when they scheduled the shoot, but she took a pregnancy test right before the shoot,” photographer Callynth Finney said. “I suggested she include the announcement in the shoot.”

The video evidence shows that Erika’s hard work in keeping her pregnancy a secret really paid off.

Two parents received a similar surprise on Christmas, and just like in Luke’s case, the surprised look on their faces makes the secret keeping worth it.

Their twin daughters handed their mom and dad a wrapped present. Working together they unwrapped the present to find a cardboard covered picture.

They untaped the cardboard and flipped over the picture to reveal a series of photographs showing that their twin daughters were both pregnant.

Their mom realized it first. “Both?” she asked her daughters. Then she turned to her husband and said, “They’re both pregnant!”

Their dad’s reaction to becoming a grandfather was priceless. He first started to cry of happiness, and asked, “Are you serious?”

He then dropped to his knees, sobbing before crawling over to his daughters and hugging them both.

His happy tears spread to the rest of the family, all of them crying and rejoicing together. This man will be an extremely loving grandfather.
