Chick-fil-A Goes Above and Beyond To Throw 100th Birthday Party for Their Most Loyal Customer
Chick-fil-A often makes the news when its employees going above and beyond for their guests.
The employees at this famous fast food chain have quickly become known as some of the kindest in the industry.
Countless stories over the years have proven this to be true. For example, one Chick-fil-A manager recently stopped the entire operation of his restaurant in the middle of a busy day to pray for an employee’s breast cancer surgery.
As the manager prayed, customers fell silent, and some even joined in to pray for the employee.
It’s through heartwarming stories like this one that we are reminded of how thoughtful Chick-fil-A really is, and how willing they are to go above and beyond to show others they care.
More recently, Florida resident Stephen Bellissimo turned 100 years old on Sept. 21, so his favorite Chick-fil-A branch in Oldsmar, Florida, threw him a birthday party.
Bellissimo visited the restaurant that day to find all of his family and friends waiting for him, as well as decorations for his birthday.
“Oh I think this just one great surprise for me. I didn’t expect anything like this,” he said to Fox 13.
For the last 20 years, Bellissimo has been visiting the same Chick-fil-A. He sits in the same booth and orders almost the same thing.
At the restaurant, he is affectionately known as “Mr. Steve.”
After a fall last year, Bellissimo moved in with his son and visits Chick-fil-A once weekly instead of his previous daily visit.
“He makes everyone here feel loved and welcomed,” Brittani Craft, marketing director for Chick-fil-A, said.
And the surprise didn’t end there. During the party, he was given the best present he could hope for — free Chick-fil-A for life!
“That is the best gift I could ever receive! Thank you very much!” Bellissimo said.
“Can I get my same booth? I can’t believe it,” he said. “Instead of coming once a week now I’m coming every day!”
What a wonderful and thoughtful team of employees at Chick-fil-A, and what a wonderful birthday gift. Happy birthday, Mr. Steve!
