Actor Kevin Sorbo Says Wildfires Mysteriously Stopped 3 Feet Short of Engulfing Home

The 2018 wildfire season continues to affect the citizens of California. Most recently, the Camp Fire has devastated many.

But despite the devastation from the flaming damage, celebrities continue to speak up about the miracles they are experiencing amidst the chaos.

Just one week ago, “The Young and the Restless” actress Brenda Epperson posted several videos sharing how a wildfire miraculously stopped just a few feet from her home as she prayed Psalm 91 over the dangerous situation.

She attributed the miracle to God’s glory and work through these trails and hard times. Moreover, she has decided to use these experiences to help others while the fires continue to affect California.

Similarly, famous actor Kevin Sorbo and his wife Sam have publicly shared how their home was also just several feet away from the destruction of the wildfires, believing it is simply a miracle that their home still stands.

The Sorbo’s shared their experience in a recent video.

“We survived the fires and our house is intact, even though the fire approached and got very close,” Sam Sorbo said.

Although the flames were only three feet away from their house, the fire stopped before causing damage — despite the fact that their neighbor’s home burned down.

“Why it stopped, I don’t know. It’s a miracle,” Kevin Sorbo said.

Both Kirk Cameron and Dean Cain also shared their experiences with PureFlix.

“In the midst of this — the fires and the mass shootings just a day before the fires broke out in our city — I’m thankful to know that there’s a loving, almighty God who’s still on his throne,” Cameron said in Thousand Oaks, California.

Dean Cain thanked authorities for their sacrifice and hard work during these tragedies.

“This year I’m extremely thankful for all the firefighters who saved my house from the terrible California fires. I’m very thankful that my entire family and everybody is safe and sound.”

Other celebrities, when asked what they were thankful for, continued to share their faith-based thankfulness during this time.

“The grace of Jesus. The gift of life and health and family and friends, the opportunity to preach the Gospel around the world, to touch people, to see the healing power of Christ, to love on people,” pastor Sam Rodriguez shared.

Jason Crabb shared, “I’m thankful to the good Lord that he’s given me a wonderful wife and two wonderful young girls. And I love this country! So I’d have to say I’m thankful for God, family and country.”

It is comforting to hear the reassurance of faith in such difficult times. Looking toward the good things ahead is what propels us forward during trials and tribulations.

Thank you to these celebrities for being open and willing to share their faith in God with the world!
