Moment 8-Year-Old Boy Is Reunited with Marine Brother Captured in Heartwarming Video

As Parker Blasingame began to think about his own homecoming, he knew that he wanted to surprise someone very special to him: his 8-year-old brother, Cash.
He had not seen Cash in over a year.
Blasingame asked his mother, Kim Perner, to help carry out his plan.
In a now-viral video, Perner told Cash that she had a special surprise for him as a reward for good grades. Cash was blindfolded and asked to extend his hands.
While anxiously awaiting his surprise, Blasingame snuck in behind his little brother and carefully placed his Marine hat into Cash’s hands.
Perner asked Cash to guess what he was now holding, but he could only guess a generic hat.
Cash was then asked to remove his blindfold and was delighted to learn that he was holding his beloved brother’s hat.
When asked, the 8-year-old enthusiastically replied that he liked his surprise. He just had no idea that a larger surprise stood only feet behind him.
Perner then asked, “Do you like that surprise or do you like that surprise?” She then pointed to Blasingame who had been silently watching the entire time.
Cash turned around, dropped to the ground in shock and leaped into his older brother’s arms.
Perner asked again which surprise Cash liked better, and he replied, through tears, “This one.”
The video was originally posted on Cash’s YouTube channel where it has since garnered over 2.5 million views.
“I am just blown away at how far this video is spreading,” Blasingame’s wife, Megan, wrote on her Facebook page.
There’s no doubt that Cash fiercely loves and looks up to his older brother. Now, he can do so in person.
