Chip and Joanna Gift Bassinet from Home to Pregnant Fan Who Tried for Baby for 12 Years

Share

Chip and Joanna Gaines have paid it forward yet again, this time, blessing a couple who has been trying to have a baby for 12 years with a hand-me-down item from their baby, Crew.

Chip and Joanna’s fifth child, Crew Gaines, was born in June of 2018.

In February, Chip posted a photo of Crew, who is growing by leaps and bounds, as babies have a way of doing.

Crew has almost outgrown his bassinet, according to Chip, who wrote, “Uh oh.. what happens when they out grow the #snoo??”

Chip was referring to his baby’s high-tech bassinet, which boasts a host of benefits for sleep-deprived parents, including improved sleep “with the calming sensations of the womb,” according to the website.

The bassinet runs just under $1,300 dollars and maybe is one of the reasons that Joanna has managed to stay so productive this year.

Gaines fan Kelly Claggett responded to Chip’s post, sharing some exciting news about the next chapter of her life.

“Sell it to me!!” Claggett wrote on the post. “After 12 years my husband and I are FINALLY expecting!!”

When Chip saw her response, he knew exactly where to send that outgrown piece of high-tech equipment.

“We’re so excited for you! Let’s get her set up,” he said, tagging his assistant.

On March 1, Claggett posted a photo of the bassinet in her possession, proving that Chip had kept his promise.

“Something absolutely BANANAS happened a few weeks ago,” she wrote on Facebook. “I made an offhand comment to Chip Gains and then the rest was nothing that I ever would have expected.”

“I do not feel worthy of any of it but like I have told the ones of you who already know. God gets every ounce of glory in this. This is just his way of saying I SEE YOU AND I LOVE YOU!”

“Our baby and family is blessed by this random act of kindness and I’ll never stop trying to pay it forward,” Claggett wrote.
