Farmer Wakes To Find 8' Long Pregnant Crocodile Under His Bed
A common childhood nightmare became a reality for a man in India who woke up in the middle of the night to find a pregnant crocodile hiding under his bed.
Babubhai Parmar, a farmer from Sojitra Taluka, Gujarat, India, said he woke up to the sound of dogs barking relentlessly around 1:30 a.m.
Parmar, 30, had a hunch to peek under his bed, and what he saw was a sight that would make many of us run away and seek new housing as soon as possible.

A crocodile, around 8 feet long, was resting silently under Parmar’s bed, eyes glowing in the darkness.
While some may have been paralyzed with fear, Parmar bravely managed to escape the room and call for help without incident.
Locals believe the mother crocodile left the nearby river in search of a safe, quiet place to lay her eggs.

“Since it is their nesting season, it would have ventured out to lay eggs,” Durgesh Patel, head of the village, told SWNS.
Patel apparently was not daunted by the crocodile, nor was he surprised to find her there.
“On any another day, I would have rescued the crocodile myself but since she was pregnant, we had to handle the situation with care.”
Patel and Parmar called local wildlife volunteers to safely get the crocodile out of the home.
“We had to wait for nearly an hour for the forest department officials to provide us the cage,” Daya Foundation wildlife volunteer Nitesh Chauhan said.
Once the forest department officials arrived, the crocodile was quickly transported back to the lake where she belonged.
“We safely recused and released the crocodile within 15 or 20 minutes,” Chauhan said.
The crocodile was taken to Malataj Lake, home to approximately 150 crocodiles.
