Harry & Meghan Blown Away by 19-Year-Old's Gift Featuring Sketch of Couple

Share

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle toured Ireland for two days in July, their first official tour outside the UK as a married couple.

Unknown to the royal couple, a 19-year-old girl named Chloe Mullins had eagerly been preparing to meet them for a long time.

As the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stopped to meet fans and shake hands, Chloe was in the crowd.

She held a framed sketch in her hands, hoping the Royals would like it.

When Prince Harry and Markle glimpsed Chloe’s sketch, they were absolutely blown away.

Markle’s jaw literally dropped when she realized that Chloe had hand-drawn one of the couple’s engagement photos.

“That’s very, very good,” Prince Harry told Chloe. “Did you draw that? It’s lovely.”

“And you’ve given me more hair,” the prince laughed, causing Markle to burst into laughter, too.

Chloe offered the sketch to the couple, hoping they would accept. Which they did — amazed that Chloe would present them with such a heartfelt gift.

“Can we have it?” Prince Harry asked her. “Are you sure?”

Needless to say, Chloe was left feeling flattered that her artwork would be making its way back to Kensington Palace.

“Ya girls artwork going in Kensington Palace,” Chloe wrote on social media.

“Delighted to have gotten to talk to them and have them keep my drawing they’re genuinely so nice!!!”

Chloe later posted that she was “still not over meeting them,” and that Markle’s compliments left her feeling sky-high.

“Couldn’t ask for a better compliment than Meghan saying my drawing “looked like a photo” and was “so special,” the teen wrote.

Congratulations, Chloe Mullins! We look forward to seeing where your artistic talents take you.
