Mother Screams with Excitement Learning Both Her Sons Are Expecting Babies Due 1 Day Apart

Share

Donna and Robert Thomas are preparing to be grandparents, and could not keep from bursting with excitement when they heard the news that they were getting two grandchildren due just one day apart.

The happy news first began to circulate when Santino Thomas called his younger brother, Primo, to tell him that he and his wife, Brittney Thomas, were expecting a baby.

Primo responded with the exciting news that he and his wife were also expecting. The brothers then found out their babies are due approximately one day apart.

The siblings decided to keep the exciting news to themselves for a bit while they hatched a plan to tell their parents on Easter Sunday in April.

The siblings prepared a gift box with two stockings tucked inside, one for each baby.

“We put the stockings together, side-by-side, in a gift box and wrapped it with Easter-ish wrapping paper for my parents to open as a gift from the four of us,” Santino said.

They had a feeling that Donna and Robert Thomas would be very excited, and the grandparents did not disappoint.

Did you have an exciting way you announced your pregnancy?

“My mother-in-law, she is one of those people you just want to tell exciting things to,” Brittney Thomas told Inside Edition.

When Donna realized what the first stocking represented, she let out a shriek so loud that her husband, seated beside her on the couch, had to cover his ears.

Then the couple realized the box contained a second stocking, causing them both to react with happy, excited screams and some great big hugs.

The families live in different cities within New York state, meaning Donna and Robert may need some fancy footwork to be at two different hospitals, depending on when the babies are born.

But this sweet family is not stressing over logistics, they are just excited for the ride. Santino and Primo told their parents not to worry about figuring out what hospital to race to first — just do whatever works best for them.

Congratulations to this family, and enjoy the fun of raising cousins alongside one another.
