Royal Family Paid Special Birthday Tribute To Meghan Markle That Many Missed
Meghan Markle, the newest member of the royal family, is now 37. She celebrated her first birthday as a royal family member on Aug. 4.
Marrying into a new family comes with a slew of new dynamics to navigate.
It often takes time to build trust and a rapport with new relatives, but Markle has seemingly done a fantastic job so far in developing lovely relationships with each of her new royal family members.
As a way to honor Markle on her inaugural royal birthday, social media accounts on behalf of the royal family shared heartwarming birthday wishes for the new Duchess of Sussex.
Selecting a lovely portrait of Markle, Kensington Palace thanked followers for their lovely well-wishes on Markle’s birthday.

Other social media accounts chose to highlight Markle’s special relationships with her royal relatives, like Queen Elizabeth.
August 4 holds a special meaning for Queen Elizabeth II, as it’s the birth date of her own mother, who was born in 1900.
Markle and the queen are already known for having a sweet relationship.
They have taken a day trip together, and have been photographed laughing and chatting away as though they’d been friends for a lifetime.
Clarence House, which represents Meghan’s parents-in-law the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, released their own photo of the trio.
Markle is seen posed with Prince Charles, who walked her down the aisle on her wedding day.
Camilla stood in the center of the photo wearing a mint colored dress and white hat.
“Wishing HRH The Duchess of Sussex a very Happy Birthday,” Clarence House representatives wrote.
It’s clear that while Markle has only been in the royal family for a few months, she’s already grabbed their hearts.
The Duchess of Sussex spent her birthday at a wedding with her husband, Prince Harry, in the midst of the royal family’s vacation.
