Sneaky Man Disguised as Patient Stuns Girlfriend with Proposal at Nursing Facility

Share

An Arizona state representative pulled off a clever marriage proposal by pretending to be a patient at a nursing center in Lake Havasu City.

It was Jan. 20, the day that businessman and Arizona state representative Leo Biasiucci had been waiting for.

Inside Edition reported that Biasiucci was “beyond ready” to propose to his girlfriend Taylor Tamayo, who he’d been dating for more than five years.

Throughout their relationship, Tamayo found herself in many romantic situations where she thought her boyfriend was planning to propose.

Two years ago, Biasiucci planned a romantic surprise picnic for just the two of them in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

But the marriage proposal didn’t come that day — instead, it came two years later when Tamayo was going about her ordinary life at Havasu Nursing Center where she works.

Tamayo’s coworkers helped Biasiucci get into the nursing center and pose as a patient, dressed in a hospital gown and wearing a surgical mask.

Do you have a creative proposal story?

He wrapped his head in bandages, trying to disguise as much of his face as possible.

He even came up with a clever name for himself — Willum Arryme — a play on the phrase, “will you marry me?”

With the camera rolling, “Willum,” Bill for short, pretended to fall out of bed and onto the floor, triggering an alarm.

Tamayo rushed into the room and asked if her patient was OK, bending down to help him off the ground.

Biasiucci never made it to his feet — instead, he stopped at his knees and took out a ring.

Tamayo gasped in complete shock, her hands flying to her face.

When she found her voice again, Tamayo answered with a happy, “yes!”

Biasiucci threw his arms around his fiancée, thrilled that every detail went as planned.

“I wanted it to be memorable and truly a surprise,” Biasiucci said.

He succeeded with both, Tamayo confirmed on her Facebook page.

“I’m glad he did it this way because I was truly surprised and couldn’t have asked for a more untraditional and unforgettable proposal,” she wrote.

After their proposal went viral, Tamayo added, “I’m glad we get to share our unforgettable proposal.”
