Two Baseball Players Look Nearly Identical and Share Same Name, But Say They're Not Related
Get ready to meet two baseball players who share some pretty crazy commonalities, like the same first and last name, strikingly similar physical features, and nearly identical career paths.
The two men had never even heard of one another until a sports writer for the Texas Rangers made the realization in late August.
It wasn’t long after the mind-blowing discovery was made that minor league pitcher Brady Fiegl was introduced to minor league pitcher Brady Fiegl.

Both Bradys stand at 6 feet 4 inches tall. They both have red hair with thick red beards.
Each sports a pair of very similar eyeglasses.
The Bradys say they are not related, and have never met anyone with the same uncommon last name, let alone someone with the same first and last name.
One Brady Feigl is a 27-year-old pitcher for the Round Rock Express in Texas, WTTV reported.
The other Brady Feigl is a 22-year-old pitcher for the Beloit Snappers in Wisconsin.
When Inside Edition learned of the ballplayers’ story, they facilitated a meeting between the men in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
“It feels like a blind date,” joked Brady Feigl while waiting for Brady Feigl to arrive.
As the men chatted, they found friendship — and yet another crazy coincidence involving their sports medical history.
Both have had elbow surgery, called Tommy John surgery, and even chose the same physician to complete the procedure within one year of each other.
Brady Feigl’s girlfriend came to the meeting to meet the other Brady Feigl, and weighed in with her thoughts. They do look alike, she agreed, but she can easily tell them apart.
The Brady’s have found the discovery to be pretty amusing, and plan to keep in touch.
In a show of good sportsmanship, each Brady credited the other as the better ballplayer.
“I think it’s awesome,” Feigl said of the coincidence.
To have a doppelganger floating around out there somewhere is one thing — but to share the exact same name is uncanny.
“It’s pretty crazy,” Feigl said.
