Michael Buble Confirms Wife Is Pregnant With Baby Number Three, Then Gender Released
Rumors surrounding a potential addition to the Buble family began circulating early this year.
In late 2016, singer Michael Buble, 42, and his wife, actress Luisana Lopilato, 30, were devastated by their young son Noah’s diagnosis with liver cancer.
But thankfully, by Feb. 2018, little Noah had undergone chemotherapy and was reportedly “on the mend.”
“Thank God, my son is well,” Lopilato said last April. “My son’s recovery is a long process as you all know and he has to continue with check-ups … But we are very happy.”
With such wonderful news, fans couldn’t help but wonder if the family was looking to begin a new chapter of their lives with another child.
Many felt it was obvious that Noah, now 4, and his younger brother Elias, 2, were about to become big brothers.
And they were right. Buble took the stage to speak at the Juno Awards in Vancouver this weekend, where he revealed that he and Lopilato are expecting a baby.
He began his speech by telling the audience about the birth of their first child five years ago before revealing the news.
“Oops, you did it again — My wife and I are pregnant with our No. 3,” he said, smiling while he blew a kiss out into the audience to his wife. “I love you so much, mi amor.”
The family has also revealed the gender of the baby to close friends and family, and reports say it will be a girl.
Just before the announcement, Lopalito also hinted at the idea that they would be welcoming another baby into the family.
“I would love to have another child because being a mother is the best role,” she said. “I would love to have 20 children but my body wouldn’t be up to it.”
It’s clear the couple can’t wait for their first baby girl to arrive, and we know she will be very loved.
“We are a little weird about our kids. We love to be with our kids a lot. When we are out for one hour, we miss them!” Lopalito said.
