Parents Applaud Mom's Genius Way She Sneaks Medicine to Baby
Any mom who gets their baby to take their medicine deserves a medal. Having a sick little one is stressful enough, and most parents report simply giving up after trying and failing for hours.
But every now and then, one parent decides to share a single parenting tip that changes the lives of other parents forever.
While some may already know the tips others share, there is always at least one parent out there who is grateful for the helpful advice.
Take the trick mom Helena Lee posted on Facebook when her baby boy refused to take his medicine for nearly 24 hours.
“So for the last 24hours ive [sic] struggled to get alfie to take calpol (a British version of acetaminophen), he has ended up covered in half of it where he spits it at me……” she began.
After trying just about everything she could to get him to take his medicine from an oral syringe, she remembered a trick she’d seen before.
When Helena inserted the syringe into the rubber nipple of a bottle, Alfie took his medicine without any fuss whatsoever.
“Not 1 bit got wasted and no tears,” she continued. “Please feel free to share with any baby mummies you know.”
Helena’s advice quickly went viral, and has since been shared over 100,000 times and liked over 50,000 times.
While some parents admitted to already knowing the genius tip, countless others responded with overwhelmingly positive feedback.
“Wow, this is revolutionary!” one reader shared on Twitter.
“Amazing! Life saver… anything i [sic] give him goes everywhere!” another mom wrote on Facebook.
