NFL Player Reveals to Wife Pregnant with Twins During Touchdown Celebration
Professional football is a high-octane, no-holds-barred kind of sport. With decades-long rivalries to be settled and millions of dollars on the line, it offers plenty of drama.
Of course, most fans already know that. It’s precisely the reason why they tune in on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
Yet the NFL also has a light-hearted side. And you can see it best in players’ various celebrations after scoring touchdowns.
For years, officials have frowned on overly exuberant commemorations in the end zone. Recently, though, they’ve loosened up the rules a bit.
According to Men’s Journal, NFL players can enjoy all sorts of celebrations after a touchdown as long as they stick to three rules. Those are that they can use the football as a prop, can get down on the field if they so desire, and are able to celebrate with other players.
That has led to some truly hilarious antics. For instance, when the Cleveland Browns faced the Oakland Raiders on Sept. 30, Browns players David Njoku and Darren Fells imitated the anime “Dragon Ball Z” after a touchdown.

The pair waved their arms in the air, pointed at one another, lifted a leg and then tipped to the side to bump helmets. It was truly one of the most adorably geeky moments ever in pro football.
On Oct. 28 during a game against the Detroit Lions, players from the Seattle Seahawks imitated a famous moment in baseball, namely the Aug. 4, 1993, brawl between Nolan Ryan and Robin Ventura. CBS Sports called it “arguably the most infamous brawl in baseball history.”
Seahawks players Doug Baldwin and Tyler Lockett recreated Ryan beaning Ventura with the ball and then the subsequent fight. Pretty cute — but nowhere near as sweet as New Orleans Saints tight end Ben Watson’s celebration on Nov. 4.
The Saints had plenty to celebrate that night. CBS News reported that they would end up beating the highly ranked Los Angeles Rams 45 to 35.
Yet Watson had something else to celebrate: His wife was pregnant.
Understand that Watson’s wife Kirsten had struggled in recent years to bring a pregnancy to term. He explained that she’d had “a few miscarriages over the past years.

“It’s been really tough. We said we would try one more time.”
So when Watson put six points up on the board for the Saints during the second quarter, he decided to make a baby announcement in an adorable way. He stuffed the football underneath his jersey in an imitation of a pregnancy bump.

Then he rubbed his newly swollen abdomen and held five fingers in the air, which represented each of his five children. Then he proceeded to lift two more fingers to show that Kirsten was expecting — and expecting twins.
“We’re going from Watson Five to Watson Seven in several months here,” Watson said. “We’re really excited and want everyone to pray for us.”
