Parents-To-Be Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Reveal When Royal Baby Is Due

Share

Baby fever is real. Don’t think that the desire to cuddle and snuggle a little one is only a social construct.

According to U.S. News & World Report, the journal “Emotion” studied the phenomenon in 2012. Study author and Kansas State University psychology professor Gary Brase said, “There’s something distinct that’s going on where people want to have children specifically.”

But what happens when you whip a little bit of royal fame into that desire to create tiny lives? Well, that baby fever turns into a four-alarm fire.

Just consider the hullabaloo around Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex. When it was announced that Meghan was pregnant, the whole world seemed to become instantly fascinated with the arrival of a new little life.

That fascination has only grown as the months have rolled by. E! reported that it was on more than one mind when Meghan and Harry went for their first walkabout of 2019.

In this particular walkabout, the royal couple appeared in Birkenhead, Merseyside, England. They strolled about Hamilton Square, a famous 19th-century public gathering place.

During their walk, they spoke with various supporters, including a 4-year-old girl who held a sign reading, “Gingers unite!” The famously red-headed Harry pounced on it.

“Do you love your hair?” he exclaimed. “The sign is amazing!”

Most others, though, wanted to know about Meghan and the little life she is carrying within her.

According to E! News, in the closest confirmation of her due date yet, Markle revealed she is six months pregnant and is due sometime near the end of April and beginning of May.

Around Christmas, fan Karen Anvil said that she got to spend a few moments with the duchess during her walkabout in Sandringham — and learned some intriguing information.

“She was so genuine,” Anvil said. “She was doing her duty as a royal with the crowds, shaking hands, et cetera.

“But when I asked her about the baby, she changed totally. She was glowing and instinctively went for her stomach.

“It was lovely.” Anvil stated that Meghan had told her the baby was due in just a couple of months.

Are you excited for the next royal baby to arrive?

The royal fan confided, “She said, ‘We are excited. We’re nearly there.’

“I said, ‘Enjoy every moment. Being a mother is a wonderful thing.’”
