7-Year-Old Boy Saves Sister's Life After She Has Seizure in Swimming Pool
Some siblings don’t always get along. Brothers and sisters are often expected to bicker and annoy one another. However, a sister and brother duo from Georgia are reminding everyone how incredible a sibling bond can be.
The two were in the family’ s pool on a hot summer day when 20-year-old Morgan Smith realized something was wrong.
The woman told WJAX that she was sitting on the pool ladder’s bottom step as dark spots filled her vision. Suddenly, Smith began to lose her balance.

Although she doesn’t remember what happened next, her 7-year-old brother Aiden McCullough watched her tip backward into the water. He immediately realized that his sister was in terrible danger.
“I was thinking like, ‘Oh my God. Oh my God. She’s going to die,'” McCullough said.
At just 7 years old, the boy knew exactly what to do to save his sister’s life. Screaming for help, he grabbed Smith’s hair to lift her out of the water. Soon, the adults came running.
Smith, who was having a seizure, likely would have drowned without his help. Thanks to her little brother’s quick reaction, she survived the incident unscathed.
When asked how he knew what to do, McCullough smiled and shrugged.
“I don’t know. I just done it,” he said.
The two siblings have always been close, but this situation has solidified their strong bond. Smith has never been more thankful to have such a little brother.
“I know that there are real-life angels because I’m lucky enough to call him mine,” Smith said. “I have an everyday superhero in my life.”
“I love my sister a lot,” McCullough said.

After Smith recovered from the incident, she embraced her brother in a loving hug.
“I love you and I’m so thankful for you everyday,” Smith said to her sibling. “You are forever my hero and every day I’m only more thankful that I get to call you my little brother. Sissy always loves you.”
Meanwhile, McCullough doesn’t seem to mind being hailed a hero.
“I think it’s amazing,” the boy said. “I’ll never forget it.”
