International superstar Celine Dion, 51, is known worldwide for her iconic hits. Just about everyone can sing the chorus to “My Heart Will Go On.” Additionally, her Las Vegas show was on millions of travelers’ itineraries for 16 years.

After a whopping 1,141 performances, the Canadian singer and her fans said goodbye to an era. Around 4,300 people purchased tickets to Dion’s sold-out show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

The touching performance included a number of moments fans will be certain to remember for years to come.

According to Today, the most heartwarming moment of the show occurred when Dion took a moment to speak about her late husband, René Angélil.

Angélil, who also served as Dion’s manager, passed away three years ago at age 73 after a long battle with cancer.

In one of the final moments of the Vegas performance, a nostalgic slideshow played to “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” The photos shown were of Dion’s previous performances and her family life, including tender moments between her and her husband.

“On behalf of all of my colleagues at Caesars Entertainment, and of course the employees of Caesars Palace, we want to thank her and her late-husband Rene Angelil, and our partners at AEG/Concerts West, for their faith that Caesars Palace was the right place for Celine Dion to draw her millions of fans from around the world to see her perform,” Selesner said.
