Watch: 4-Year-Old Teaches Fellow Passenger an Embarrassing Lesson on Plane Etiquette
I think we’ve all found ourselves in an uncomfortable situation on public transport at one time or another. The discomfort might be due to noisy passengers, poor air flow or, perhaps, someone in your personal space.
Usually, we bite our tongues and bear with it until we finally reach our destination. However, one little boy wasn’t shy about teaching a woman a valuable lesson in plane etiquette!
Darryl Small and his 4-year-old son, Rodney, were buckled in for a flight back to Houston, Texas, after a trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
Darryl pressed record on his phone’s camera to capture his son’s reaction to their liftoff. However, Rodney was preoccupied with something on the back of his seat.

“Some stinky feet behind me,” Rodney said seriously.
The woman seated behind Rodney had placed her bare foot on the back of his chair, between his chair and the wall, and the 4-year-old simply wouldn’t stand for it. His father tried to control his laughter as Rodney turned around to look at the woman.
“It’s a lady!” Rodney yelled. “Why does somebody have feet behind me?”
“As a child he knew that putting your foot in someone else’s space was not kind at all,” Darryl Small told Liftable, a section of The Western Journal. “Although we don’t believe the lady intended to invade his space he reacted the way anyone else would react.”
Realizing that Rodney was speaking to her, the woman quickly removed her foot. She reportedly apologized to the two, but neither father nor son were truly upset.
“We weren’t offended or anything, it was just his reaction,” Darryl Small told KTRK-TV.
When asked why Rodney felt the urge to call out the passenger’s behavior, his answer was matter-of-fact.

“I turned around so her feet could get off my seat,” Rodney said.
Rodney’s reaction highlighted how bold children can be. As adults, we tend to avoid creating conflict, even when something is bothering us.
“Sometimes adults hold back with confronting others to keep the peace but as a child he voiced his concerns and his facial expressions and reaction made it hilarious,” Darryl told Liftable.

Since posting the amusing video to his Facebook page, Darryl has watched it go viral. He has continued to post adorable videos of his son’s everyday reactions and words of wisdom.
