Basketball Smacks Toddler in Face, But Big Brother Wipes Her Tears Away and Steals Internet's Heart

Some of life’s sweetest moments come from the simple kindnesses we share with one another, such as a hug, a kiss or a friendly handshake.

If you’ve ever had a parent kiss a “boo-boo” or kissed one yourself, you know that a loving touch from someone close to you can make all the difference.

A video shared by a mom on social media is going viral for precisely that reason. Her son is the perfect example of kindness and empathy.

When Sarahanne Mora’s husband, JP Mora, sent her a video of their two children playing basketball, Sarahanne couldn’t help but post it on social media.

The video she shared has been viewed nearly 2 million times since first being shared on Facebook on Oct. 5.

Sarahanne also posted the video on Instagram, where it has gone viral as well. One commenter even thanked this mom for sharing.

“Thank you for raising these children to be kind and loving,” @lizzymarvin wrote in a comment. “Yay team Love and Kindness.”

Did your siblings comfort you when you were hurt?

“My babies are going viral spreading a message of positivity, support, and love,” Sarahanne wrote on Instagram.

Watch what happens when the basketball hits the little girl in the face. Prepare to have your heart melted.

What a sweet little boy. He’s already a great man in the making!  The best part is when he says, “It’s okay. You’re strong!”

What a positive little motivator. This little girl may just have the best big brother in the world. I’d sure want him around if I ever needed encouragement.

His sister must feel the same way. After he takes time to give her a hug and kiss, lift her up and encourage her to keep going, she’s happy once more.

We could all use a friend or sibling like this one. Someone to pick us up off the ground and give us the extra boost we all too often need.

Can you remember a time when another person encouraged you in such a way? Go out and be that encouragement to someone today. You never know how far your kindness will go.
