Mom Films Son with Cerebral Palsy on Court, Watches as Kind Teammate Helps Him Shoot Ball
Kids need to know they can do anything or be anything, even if it takes a bit of extra effort and determination to get there.

Nine-year-old Austin Weaver of West Virginia knows the true value of teamwork. He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the age of 3 and wears braces on his legs to stay mobile, ABC News reported.
Even with his limitations, Austin loves to play basketball. His team at Martin Elementary School gives their full support, too.

A video of Austin — player number 10 — at his first game of the season shows him with another teammate, wearing number 50, who works hard to help Austin make a basket.
It takes a few tries, but they eventually nail it. The amazing thing is that the opposing team even stands by, patiently waiting for Austin to reach his goal.

His excitement is infectious! Just look at that sweet smile as Austin runs back across the court to give his coach a high five!
His mom, Christina Weaver, told ‘Today‘ that her son “will do anything to make other people smile.”
Everyone has fallen in love with Austin and his helpful teammate since the video of the game went viral.
“There are angels among us. #50 is one,” one person tweeted.
“May the Lord bless these two special friends!” another commenter wrote. “I broke down crying! What a wonderful young man to help a teammate like he did.”
Another person shared, “Great to see a positive story from our area. The parents of #50 are doing a great job.”
