Little Boy Has Best Reaction when NFL QB Sends Him Special Video Message with Invitation

Share

How would you react if you found out your favorite celebrity had a message for you? I know if Taylor Swift called and asked me to be a backup dancer in her next show, I’d be fangirling all over the place.

I might not hold a candle to any of Taylor’s moves, but it would still be amazing to join her on stage. We all have big dreams that seem impossible, don’t we?

What if your seemingly impossible dream could become reality? Wouldn’t you happy dance around the room?

Of course you would! So it’s no surprise that one little boy with NFL dreams flipped his lid when he received a very special message from his favorite professional football player.

Caleb, age 9, is a huge fan of one team in particular, and his mom knew all too well what his reaction would be if he got the chance of a lifetime.

“If you could meet one person in the world, who would it be?” Caleb’s mom, Cindy Koehler, asked in a video she posted on Twitter. Caleb didn’t hesitate a second before offering his answer.

“Ben Roethlisberger,” he said. For those of you who aren’t super sports savvy (like myself), Ben Roethlisberger, known as “Big Ben” to his many fans, is a quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

When Caleb was asked what he would do if “Big Ben” wanted to toss around a football with him, Caleb replied, ” I would probably hyperventilate, and then pass out.” I can’t blame him as that would probably be my exact reaction in a situation like this.

“I’m gonna send this to ‘Big Ben,'” Cindy promised. The reward that followed was priceless.

“I saw the Tweet that your mom put out…” Roethlisberger said in his response. “I thought maybe I’d reward you and invite you to come to my football camp…”

Just wow! Talk about a dream come true for this 9-year-old football fan!

Obviously, Caleb agreed when he started rolling on the floor and begging his mom to let him go. And it sounds like she’s going to!

“Thank you so much for inviting me to your football camp, I can’t wait to come!” Caleb said in his response video to “Big Ben.” “This is seriously a dream come true, thank you so much!”

I hope camp is amazing! I’m sure it will be a week Caleb will not soon forget.
