Man Allegedly Flashes Woman, But Runs to Cops When She Gets Knife and Brutal Revenge

Share

It’s unusual when an alleged flasher will run to the police unprompted.

It might be less unusual, however, if the man has been stabbed by a woman he flashed.

According to the Sacramento Bee, a 28-year-old male came to Redlands, California police telling them he had been randomly stabbed by a woman. Police arrested a suspect, but later learned that the incident appeared to have begun when the stabbing victim allegedly exposed himself to her.

“A 51-year-old Redlands woman was arrested Thursday for assault with a deadly weapon following what was initially reported as a random stabbing Tuesday afternoon in the 800 block of West Brockton Avenue,” a statement from the Redlands Police Department on Friday read.

“The incident was reported at about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 10. The victim, a 28-year-old Redlands man, initially told police he was walking on West Brockton Avenue when a woman came up from behind and stabbed him multiple times in the back. The woman then fled south on New York Street.

“Investigators were able to identify the suspect through City surveillance video and surveillance video from several businesses in the area. Police arrested 51-year-old Cynthia Christine Molina on Wednesday.”

That’s when things took a turn.

“Investigators later learned that the incident began a short time earlier Tuesday when the male victim saw Molina at Jennie Davis Park, at Redlands Boulevard and New York Street, and exposed himself in front of her.”

“The male then left the park and walked north on New York Street and east on Brockton, followed by Molina. He was stabbed after exchanging words with Molina.

“In addition to the assault charge against Molina, investigators are forwarding charges to the District Attorney’s Office for indecent exposure against the male.”

KTLA-TV reported that the park was a 15-minute walk away from where the flashing allegedly took place.

Do you think this man should be charged?

Authorities say that the 28-year-old man has not been arrested yet. Officers didn’t provide any information on his condition.

Now, this isn’t to say that you can stab someone who flashed you. Everything in this case — assuming it happened as it’s been alleged — falls into the “play stupid games, win stupid prizes” bin.

You don’t flash people. Not engaging in public perversion should be a blindingly obvious life skill — even for a millennial.

And if you’re flashed, you don’t just stab the offender if you’re not in immediate danger.

There’s someone you go to in incidents like this. It’s called the police.
