While Media Fawns Over Beto Crowds, Trump Texas Rally Forced to Find Bigger Venue
While the establishment media continues to revel in their infatuation with Texas Democratic nominee for the U.S Senate, Beto O’Rourke, Texans themselves are getting psyched for President Trump’s visit to Houston to laud the current senator.
President Donald Trump’s upcoming rally in support of O’Rourke’s opponent, incumbent Republican Sen. Ted Cruz, has had to be moved to a larger venue because of the huge outpouring of demand for tickets.
According to Trump’s campaign manager, Brad Parscale, the president’s rally was relocated from its original 8,000 seat venue at Houston’s NRG Arena to the Toyota Center, which holds up to 19,000 people, as reported by The Hill.
On Thursday, Parscale wrote on Twitter that the response to the upcoming rally “has been HUGE and unprecedented,” and promised that Trump’s rally will be “epic.”

Trump’s campaign announced on Monday that he would be heading down to Houston to stump for Cruz.
Trump has been touring the country for the past couple of weeks in support of GOP Senate candidates.
The 2018 Texas Senate race has received national attention, with liberal media outlets bolstering O’Rourke at every turn, painting him as a model Democrat and a distinguished underdog for the so-called Trump times.
They gleefully point to the crowds that O’Rourke can draw as evidence that the tides may changing for Republicans in Texas.
This rose-colored vision of O’Rourke as a man of the people has rewarded him with massive support.
He’s received a whopping $38.1 million dollars for his campaign, thanks to Democrats’ attempts to pull a blue wave in the 2018 midterms.
As Cruz pointed out, the adulation for O’Rourke is strategic.
“If you’re a wealthy liberal sitting in New York City or Massachusetts or San Francisco right now and you could defeat one Republican in the country, it’d be me, that’s why the money is flowing in here,” Cruz told Fox News last month.
Texas hasn’t elected a Democrat in a statewide election in decades, but many Democrats are motivated by the Trump presidency to win in the Senate. And defeating the last serious candidate to still oppose Trump in the 2016 primary race would have to be particularly sweet.
Perhaps blinded by their own personal animosity for the president, Liberals insist that Trump is only hurting Republican candidates this election season.
But as we can see with Trump’s rally for Cruz needing to move to bigger accommodations, this is far from the case.
