Molotovs, Kite Bombs, Anti-Drone Fire -- Pics of 'Peaceful' Palestinian Protests Surface

History is being made in Israel, but all too predictably, the reality isn’t being completely reported by the mainstream media.

On May 14, the U.S. embassy was officially moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The event marked a turning point in American-Israeli relations and was a political win for President Trump, but the achievement was also overshadowed by violence in Gaza.

Palestinians in Gaza used the opening of the embassy to justify major protests, which quickly became out-of-control riots. As the violence in the border area escalated, Israeli guards were forced to kill at least 59 Palestinians.

Liberals and the media — is there a difference anymore? — were quick to use that clash as a way to smear Israel, and by proxy, Donald Trump. It was a familiar narrative: Oppressive Israeli soldiers shot at innocent, unarmed Palestinians who had arrived to peacefully demonstrate.

But is it true? Well, no.

Numerous reports reveal that radical Palestinians groups, especially the terror group Hamas, were planning chaos and violence in Gaza all along.

Photos and videos show that a variety of weapons and explosives were used by the supposedly “unarmed” Palestinians, making the protests look less like a demonstration more like terrorism.

“Palestinians living in Gaza under the governing control of Hamas, a terror group with a history of using human shields and child soldiers, were encouraged to rush the border with Israel during the opening of the new U.S. embassy in Jerusalem,” The Daily Caller reported.

“Israel, like all countries, has sovereign borders and maintains the right to protect them,” the outlet continued.

Do you believe Israel has a right to defend its borders?

That’s the same general message that Nikki Haley, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, recently delivered. “I ask my colleagues here in the Security Council, who among us would accept this type of activity on your border? No one would,” she told the assembly on Tuesday.

“Hamas maps and social media show the fastest routes to reach Israeli communities in case demonstrators make it through the security fence,” Haley continued, according to the Washington Examiner. “They have reported on Hamas messages over loudspeakers that urge demonstrators to burst through the fence.”

Evidence on the ground in the Gaza border area backs up this claim.

“We are excited to storm and get inside,” a 23-year-old Palestinian named Mohammed Mansoura told The Washington Post. “When asked what he would do inside Israel, he said, ‘Whatever is possible, to kill, throw stones,'” The Post reported.

“Two other young men carried large knives and said they wanted to kill Jews on the other side of the fence,” The Post continued.

“To kill Jews.” Those are the words of the “peaceful” protesters desperately being turned into martyrs by the media.

Having seen the cycle of violence along the border many times, the Israeli government took precautions to make sure Palestinians did not escalate the situation.

“With full knowledge of the violence Hamas was fomenting beyond their border, the IDF dropped pamphlets warning Palestinians to not approach the border fence and deadly force would be used if they did not heed the warning,” The Daily Caller explained. “It didn’t stop hundreds of Palestinians from lighting tires ablaze and charging the barricades.”

Pictures are worth a thousand words, and videos even more. Images from the border area show Palestinians launching firebombs and other weapons using kites and massive slingshots.

“Palestinians are using slingshots to rain rocks and glass on the Israeli solders and citizens just across the border,” explained The Daily Caller. Countless pictures back this up.

For a moment, imagine that this was happening not in a faraway country, but during a riot in your city. Suppose you have a fence around your home, with clearly marked signs warning people to stay back.

But they don’t. Ignoring every warning, a mob of rioters shouting for your death arrives with wire cutters to enter your property, launch flaming Molotov cocktails onto your roof, and start storming toward your home with every weapon they can get their hands on.

Your family is inside. Are you justified in defending them?

That is almost exactly the situation in Gaza. Don’t believe the “innocent, peaceful protester” narrative — instead, look at the photos and video and decide for yourself.
