CNBC’s Donny Deutsch appeared on MSNBC’s Morning Joe Monday to discuss what he thinks will happen if Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump loses the election in November.
Deutsch said he was concerned that Trump would not give a concession speech — standard practice for the candidate who doesn’t win the general election.
Instead, the CNBC host said he is afraid the GOP nominee will continue his political revolution and announce that he is running in 2020.

“Trump will continue being a face of hate,” Deutsch said.
Morning Joe co-host Joe Scarborough wasn’t convinced that would be the case, instead saying Trump would just go back to designing golf courses and then playing them.
“This is not a guy who will be speaking at think tanks in Washington in February of next year,” Scarborough declared. “He will be golfing.”

Deutsch disagreed.
“I’ve never seen such rage,” he said. “What’s scaring me — and I’m sure we can get to this — is obviously, Trump is starting to tee up the loss, talking about the rigged election.”
He continued, “What’s worrying me is come election night, I think for the first time we’re going to see a candidate who loses not give a concession speech. Donald Trump is going to stand up there and say, ‘It was rigged, and I’m not conceding, and I’m announcing my run in 2020 for the Trump Revolution Party.'”
Deutsch then read a tweet by Milwaukee County, Wis., Sheriff David Clarke in which Clarke indicated it was time to start fighting back against the establishment.
It's incredible that our institutions of gov, WH, Congress, DOJ, and big media are corrupt & all we do is bitch. Pitchforks and torches time pic.twitter.com/8G5G0daGVN

Deutsch said that was “scary,” adding, “This is a man with a gun and a badge who spoke at the convention, and I’m frightened.”
The Washington Post’s Margaret Sullivan said she was also very concerned about Trump’s rhetoric. Sullivan discussed an article she wrote about the Committee to Protect Journalists’ recent declaration that “a Trump presidency represents a threat to press freedom unknown in modern history.”
She told Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski that the group had to make a statement “because they try to keep journalists safe around the world, and if press rights are threatened in America that really has implications globally.”
“He threatens the safety of journalists?”Brzezinski asked.

“Well, you know, certainly journalists are having a tough time at his rallies. … He’s talked many times about wanting to go up against or to change the libel laws and to change the laws that allow journalists to do their jobs,” Sullivan said. “So that’s very threatening.”
