The Obamas are on vacation again in Martha’s Vineyard, but the stay may not be completely filled with leisure.
In between rounds of golf with Bill Clinton, the president is reportedly reaching out to Democrat lawmakers to attract support for the controversial Iranian nuclear deal.
The lobbying effort is aimed at preventing more Democrats from voting against it.

New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez joined Chuck Schumer, the leading Congressional Jewish voice, as two Senate Democrats in opposition to the deal.
Sen. Menendez: “If Iran is to acquire a nuclear bomb, it won’t have my name on it.”
The senators’ opinions fall in line with how most Americans feel about the Iranian deal.

According to a Gallup poll, only one-third of Americans support Obama’s handling of the situation in Iran.
Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz has also been very critical of the deal.
Cruz: “If this deal is consummated, it will make the Obama administration the world’s leading financier of radical Islamic terrorism.”
Fellow candidate Ben Carson took it one step further, calling the president “anti-Semitic” for being “against the survival” of Israel.
