Punk Goes After Wrong Girl. Suddenly Hears Whisper, 'Don’t Move or I’ll Break Your Neck'

Justice, in an of itself, is a beautiful thing.

Justice when thugs try to prey on someone they think is weaker than they is even more marvelous.

This latest example coming from Nemacolin, Pennsylvania, very much falls into the latter category.

As KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh reports, a 22-year-old woman didn’t need much help inflicting justice on a punk who was trespassing on her property.

Hannah Hughes was just across the street at her parents’ house for some New Year’s Eve festivities when her mother, Deb Hughes, noticed something odd about Hannah’s house.

“I saw all of her lights on in the upstairs of her house,” Deb Hughes told KDKA-TV.

Now, most ordinary people might be inclined to call the cops and let them handle a possible trespasser. As I’m sure you’ve no doubt figured out, Hannah Hughes is no ordinary person.

“I said,.’there better be nobody in my house,'” Hughes recalled responding to her mom’s question about the lights mysteriously being on.

“I just bolted out the door. The only thing I could think is, ‘if I get a hold of this guy, I’m not letting him go,'” Hughes told KDKA.

That, dear readers, is a woman of action. But being a person of action is one thing. It’s an entirely different matter to be effective in said action.

Hughes had been training in karate for 10 years and had achieved a brown belt in the martial art. That was bad news for a 19-year-old punk eventually identified as Edward William Staley.

Staley was standing in Hughes’ doorway and she didn’t recognize him at all.

After she confronted him and pushed him, Hughes said, Staley pushed back and approached her. Presumably, he meant to harm her in some way. I doubt he was trying to give her a friendly hug.

“That’s when I grabbed him by the hair and put my arm around his arm and I just threw him,” Hughes said. It wasn’t long before Staley was on the floor, face down, and in a considerable amount of pain.

But just in case Staley had any illusions about his predicament, Hughes gave him a stern warning:

“Don’t move or I’ll break your neck.”

The proper authorities eventually arrived and handled the matter.

From all indications, the only actual harm done was to Staley’s pride and ego. Good.
